As the COVID-19 pandemic reverberated throughout the nation and the world, few industries were impacted quite like the music industry. Music venues completely shut down, artists couldn't tour or do shows, and what seemed like a temporary problem became our new normal. As a result, VenueFest was born as a means to support local venues and give music creators and artists a stage to keep performing.
